A co-worker of mine went trick-or-treating with Tom Cruise and their children. Can you imagine opening the door on Halloween, and Tom freakin' Cruise is standing there? You can have all my candy, honey! Just kidding, schmoopie.

Actually, we got no trick-or-treaters at our place this year--again. And were stuck with all the delicious candy--again. It just means we'll have to be faithful gym attendees this week. That is made easier by a good selection of music on the MP3. I'm currently warming up to "Bohemian Rhapsody" and cooling down to "The Origin of Love," from the Hedwig soundtrack. There's some James Brown and Elvis Costello in between. And, for the first time in ages, I'm really excited about an album release. The new Johnny Cash album includes, among other things, covers of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus," and Nine Inch Nails, "Hurt." It comes out today, and you've got to hear it to believe how cool it is.
