More weekends should be like this!
Friday went and saw I Heart Huckabees. Awesome. I am officially now going to require a deathmatch between Jason Schwartzman and Zach Braff to determine who will have my hand. Think I might need me one of these, too.
Saturday was the birthday party for Rina's daughter. There was a jumphouse, two pinatas, cake, and lots and lots of ponies. When the kids went home, the grown-ups had a little fun of their own. It made me think (not so much for me, since my parents didn't party much, or at all) of all the memories people must have, of being kids sent to sleep in their rooms, laying in the dark and listening to the adults carry on, just the other side of the wall.
Today I shopped and shopped. Bought a little pink fleece zip-up jacket I don't need. But it had this tiny zippered pocket in the middle of the back that I just couldn't resist. There's just something about a pocket being so completely inaccessible that must, sort of, charm me or something. Also got protein powder to make shakes in the morning, like Rina does. She's lost five pounds!
Christ, Rina, I should start a seperate blog category for entries just about you. You're all I ever talk about!
And tonight I wrote a piece of coverage to try to prove my skills for a really great job that could potentially change my life. I turn it in tomorrow morning. All you guys, cross your fingers for me, okay?

That’s funny you should say that. You are all I talk about too! What is it that I always say? I want to be just like Helena when I grow up!
Who loves you!
