This and That

This is going to be one of those entries that anti-bloggers point to as the source of their disdain.

So I'm obsessed with Lost. Last week a guy in our office introduced me to the show by lending me his pirated DVDs to watch. And OH MY GOD. I'm freaking hooked. Best show ever. Thanks a lot, dude. After almost three months without a functioning television (only useful for DVDs) I am going out to buy stupid rabbit ears so I can introduce that time-sucking demon back into my life and watch this one program. Here's to hoping that things are the same as three months ago, and there's nothing remotely interesting on network television to suck me in when I should be learning how to cook or something.

And speaking of that! LOOK what I MADE!! I'm so excited!!!!
My Salad!!

Yup. Granted, it's really easy to put together, and most of the work is cleanup. But still. I'm pretty proud. My courage and confidence in the kitchen is growing ever-so-slowly. Who knows? I might actually turn out to be something of a chef. My untapped potential is unlimited. Photoshopped images of me wearing a chef's hat are welcome.

Now I'm going to go play several of the NES games that were, uh, procured for me. It's going to take a while for me to exhaust this new hobby, since I now own EVERY NES game ever made, here or abroad. The best part is that because they are on my computer, there are no cartridges to blow on, and Super Mario Bros will never crap out as I am about to deliver the third blow to Bowser's head. Jealous much? That's ok, you can come over to my house and play video games if you want.

If you don't want that Super Mario anymore, I'm sooo willing to buy it from you. I never did find one.

Lost is definitely one of the best shows I have ever watched and it is completely addictive from the first episode on. The one that aired last night (May 18th) is one of the single greatest episodes of television I have ever watched; any show.

Of course, I also really dig Desperate Housewives...

ARGH! I missed Lost last night. Hahaha...I totally forgot it was Wednesday. But a friend who has it on Tivo is going to make me a cassette. The only thing my VHS is good for anymore :P
