So I finally got my wireless access point set up at home (no more wire across the apartment), but now it keeps dropping the signal! Someone please hand me a drink so I'm not forced to go out and beat up the first hipster I see.
Here's the poem, in any case:
restraint
you make me
uncomfortable
there's something behind
your timid voice
your sensitive eyes
your delicate hand
gestures
there's something
behind
that belongs
to an animal
i see it pacing
back
and forth
just
waiting

Without wishing to cheapen the poetry moment, try switching to a different channel on your access point - someone nearby may be using that one and it could be confusing your system. Drop me an email if you need any help with wireless, it's one of my 'things'.
Posted by: J on August 29, 2006 01:35 PMI set up a home wireless signal, have gone through 2 routers and after 2 years my system sits on the floor, blinking away into the carpet, while I just use some really long wires, because I can never make the damn things work. Maybe tonight I will re enagage the enemy, time to win a battle or 2.
