Like Zombies



I dreamed
that she
had cuckolded
two men
When they found out
they strangled her
and tore the flesh
from her face
with their teeth

Then they came after me
because she was my friend
but I hid
I was concealed
by one of their band
who could see
they had become monsters

He said, When they follow me
you take the back door

and I did

then I woke up
terrified
and brought the knife
to sleep with me
